FAQS
Get Sauced is popping up in the grassy lot and parking areas of West Plaza and Mountlake Church off of 56th Ave W, between 234th and 232nd, just north of Mountlake Terrace’s Town Center and about 1/2 mile from the Light Rail / Transit Center.
-
Get Sauced is a free 1-day festival in Mountlake Terrace featuring:
30+ hot sauce (and other sauces) vendors sampling their sauces
50+ additional local businesses and organizations to shop from and connect with
food trucks and local restaurants with all the good eats
contests, live music, and activities for the whole family!
-
The Light Rail + Transit Center are about ½ mile from Get Sauced - it’s walkable, or there are regular buses going from the Transit Center to the Town Center.
There’s ample free street parking surrounding the festival in the residential areas just a block or two away - we ask that you are courteous of the residences and businesses and do not block entrances.
We encourage you to walk to the festival, carpool, or take public transit in order to reduce the amount of vehicles driving to the event.
There will be ADA parking spaces reserved for the event located on the back side of the West Plaza building [DD Meats and Diamond Knot].
-
More information will be coming soon with what contests are available, when they’re scheduled, and how to register to participate!
-
This is an outdoor event and pets are allowed and welcomed! Please make sure that your pets:
are on leash or contained (backpack, stroller, etc)
are not causing a scene or barking excessively
and please bring your own water, poo bags, and please be respectful of vendor’s and businesses’ property, tents, tablecloths, etc.
-
This event strives to be compliant and welcoming to strollers, wheel chairs, and other mobility needs!
If you feel your needs aren’t met, please let Sarah, the host, know via email so she can make adjustments and improvements.
ADA parking spaces will be available behind the Diamond Knot + DD Meats building. You can access the alley with the ADA spots via 58th Ave W - the vehicle entrance is directly across from the City Hall and Library buildings entrance.
