All vendors are from the PNW - as close as your neighbors in Bothell and as far as Bellingham, Walla Walla, and Portland, OR!

located in Downtown Bothell on the City Hall Plaza, 101st St NE, and in First & Main Design Market’s parking lot!

Bothell is about 30 mins North of Seattle and 20 mins North of Bellevue.

a great way to spend the day in Bothell - come for the market and stay for dinner, drinks, and shopping on Main Street. Plus, check out our friends at the Pop Shops on Main!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • There is a free parking garage under Bothell City Hall! The elevator will take you to the uppermost level of the market.

There’s also ample free street parking surrounding the market and in the residential areas just a block or two away.

There are bus transit stops and a park-n-ride within a few blocks of the market, and, we’re just a couple blocks from the Sammamish River Trail.

  • This is an outdoor market and pets are allowed and welcomed! Please make sure that your pets are:

    • on leash or contained (backpack, stroller, etc)

    • not causing a scene or barking excessively

    • bring your own water, poo bags, and please be respectful of vendor’s property, tents, tablecloths, etc.

Plus! We always have fun pet vendors with treats, accessories, toys, and more!

  • This market strives to be compliant and welcoming to strollers, wheel chairs, and other mobility needs! If you feel your needs aren’t met, please let Sarah, the market host, know via email so she can make adjustments and improvements.

The elevator from the parking garage will drop you off on the uppermost level of the market. From there, ramps will take you to the street or to the lower level plaza for the rest of the market.

  • This is separate for each vendor. Nearly all take cards, only some take cash.

Some also have Venmo or PayPal options as well.

  • Keep scrolling! There’s a whole vendor list, divided out by product category, with links to each vendor’s website or social media.

Sometimes vendors change last minute, but the website will be as up to date as possible so you can plan accordingly.

  • I am always seeking volunteers! If you’re interested and available on the day of the market, please email me, Sarah [hello@makinglocal.com], to coordinate on a time slot that works for your schedule!

    Example volunteer tasks:

    • helping vendors locate their booth spot during load in [8am-10am]

    • covering restroom / food breaks for vendors by watching their booth [11am-3pm]

    • supporting load out and clean up by moving trash bins, monitoring traffic flow of vendor vehicles, and collapsing tents, etc. [3:30pm-5:00pm]

If a student* needs community service hours, this is a great opportunity! I’m happy to sign off a form with description of the work or time volunteering. *If the student is under 18, for liability purposes, I just need a parent/guardian permission slip along with it.
